Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend is the best time to shop for your entertaining needs since all the sales are on anyways – no point in paying full price next week!
I love this time of the year – everything feels so cozy and warm and I feel this is mainly due to the way we decorate our homes throughout the holiday season. On top of the fun Christmas decor, all our parties feel glamorous and special due to the extra touches that fill the home such as gold-rimmed glasses or festive platters. Fall is officially here and I am not mad about it! It is my favourite season and I cannot wait to start decorating the house and having people over for cozy evenings together. If you saw my Entertaining Bucket List, you know that I have a lot of fun ideas planned and I cannot wait to start on them. This season brings along the feelings of comfort and coziness which is perfect for lazy days together at home. I definitely prefer to stay at home relaxing with friends and I cannot wait to start baking up a storm in the kitchen.

I can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by! I feel like I say this every day but it truly feels that way. Although I do find it going quickly, I have been taking the time to enjoy it which has been my goal this summer. We have had the opportunity to go to the cottage a few times with friends and spend weekends on patios and I have been enjoying every minute of it!
One good thing about the summer coming to an end is that all the stores are having amazing summer sales! This is the time to truly buy things if you need to update your entertaining supplies or just want to add something new without paying full price! There are so many cute things available it is very hard to select only 5 items!

Summer has arrived in full force and I am so excited to start enjoying our patio! Summer entertaining is always the best – the feel is more casual and the food is amazingly fresh. People seem to be more relaxed and enjoy just sitting outside together for hours. My favourite thing is to gather everyone in the backyard and host an amazing BBQ – people can enjoy themselves in the fresh air and cleanup is a breeze! Our current house does not have a backyard option but we will be moving in 2019 and I am so excited to plan our summer parties. Chilled Sangria anyone? There are SO many cute, unique, gorgeous, amazing entertaining finds out there that I am surprised I have any money to my name. Thankfully we live in a small townhouse otherwise I would own about 73,432 cake stands and serving platters. The struggle is real folks! HA! On top of all the awesome items out there I am constantly inspired by the amazing things I see from girl bosses (and guy bosses!) on the daily.

How absolutely gorgeous is this gold flatware!? I fell in love the minute I saw it and have already dreamed up various tablescapes that involve them. Also the price is quite reasonable because I have seen them prices for over $100+. Found at Ikea.
3. LONG MARBLE & WOOD BOARD ($39.50) – Heart ♥ it here!
I feel like you can never ever have enough long boards for entertaining. Whether setting up a cheese board or using it as a plate for your appetizers – they are so universal for entertaining. Plus the marble and wood combination is just perfect! Found at Indigo Chapters.
