Working in events for almost 10 years has taught me that no occasion is too small to celebrate. From intimate birthday dinners to large functions there is always a common theme: amazing friends and family, great food and fun décor!

Putting together a celebration can definitely be stressful (especially if everything seems to be going wrong!) but I hope that you will find some useful resources on JMS to help make things easier. In the end the party always goes on and people only remember the good times!
When hosting I always try to use simple, easy but equally delicious meals for a stress free event. One of my favourite things is picking out an entertaining menu that flows together, allows for ahead prep and is not a lot of fuss once guests arrive. Being organized and prepared in advance is the key and I hope our recipes and JMS TIPS help you achieve a successful event.
I know some people say not to experiment with new recipes when hosting (and I agree when hosting a VIP dinner or if Martha Stewart is coming over!) but I think that’s how we improve and get better! I love having our friends over and trying new recipes. In the end if the recipe fails you will have a good laugh, your friends will still love you and maybe even offer suggestions for improvement!
Also to add to the above – as much as I enjoy new experimentations I will always love the classics that people sometimes forget about. Sometimes we need a reminder of the good ol favourites! You will find both at JMS including inspiration from others around the world – there are so many amazing people out there that I marvel at daily and must share.
Overall JMS fuels my creative side and my passion for entertaining, food, sparkles, holidays, champagne, chocolate…pretty much all my favourite things! I hope you enjoy yourself while you are here….cheers!
