I can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by! I feel like I say this every day but it truly feels that way. Although I do find it going quickly, I have been taking the time to enjoy it which has been my goal this summer. We have had the opportunity to go to the cottage a few times with friends and spend weekends on patios and I have been enjoying every minute of it!

One good thing about the summer coming to an end is that all the stores are having amazing summer sales! This is the time to truly buy things if you need to update your entertaining supplies or just want to add something new without paying full price! There are so many cute things available it is very hard to select only 5 items!

Summer entertaining outside is magical and these twinkle string lights are the perfect addition to your balcony or patio. Don’t ever underestimate mood lighting and how it can make the party. Now although this technically does not fall under the “summer sale” category I had to include this amazing book! If you don’t know Courtney, please get to know her asap (she runs www.pizzazzerie.com) because her entertaining style is beyond amazing! Her book is filled with brilliant inspiration for all those sale entertaining items you will buy! She gives great tips on styling tablescapes and includes the most delicious recipes. After seeing the laser cut name cards in the book I went out and ordered my own – they are the perfect extra touch!
