My main focus on JMS Entertaining is to help simplify your life when it comes to party planning and entertaining ideas! I try to share recipes that allow for ahead prep and are easy to put together once guests arrive. Another way of easy entertaining is showcasing resources that help with regards to decor and party setup. I understand not everyone has time to make a 10 foot balloon backdrop or hand glue buttons on everyone’s party hat….and that’s ok!
I’m not sure if you are aware but IKEA has ventured into the party supply business. I’m loving it but I was originally surprised – not like they haven’t covered every other product possible already! They have started selling “party in a box” type products which provide you the basics to create a fun kids’ themed party. This is great for people that just do not have the time to go out and buy every single item separately to put together the party theme themselves. The kit I purchased was a woodland creatures version and it is adorable!
Everything shown in the first picture was included in the kit with the exception of the napkins which I purchased separately (also at IKEA).
The kit contains:
- Banner paper – they have included a ton of banner flags and provided string. You could essentially make various banners for around the house there are so many!
- 6 Headbands each sporting a different woodland creature
- 6 Treat boxes – I placed popcorn in mine but it can be filled with chips, pretzels etc.
- 6 Treat bags for a take home surprise
- 6 Invitation cards
- 2 Stand up long banners
- Napkins purchased separately
Overall the kit contains your essentials for party time (with the exception of paper plates) and has you covered for party table decor with very little setup time required.
How adorably cute is this decor and it literally took under 10 minutes to setup! Some times you just need a good ol party kit to save the day and that works just as well! With Spring being here and the warmer weather around the corner this setup would be perfect for an outdoor party. Please send an invite here!
