I cannot think of anything more refreshing on a hot summer day than a fresh cold smoothie! Strawberry season is in full force and I have been loving it so far. For some reason the last few years have been “meh” on the strawberry selection in stores but this year I have already had a few amazing bunches! Can’t wait for more.
I have been wanting to do this flavour combination for a long time and now that summer has arrived, I can’t wait to have this smoothie on rotation. In my pursuit to engage in more dairy free meals, I found a perfect substitute for the regular yogurt I added in parfaits – Yoso Vanilla Coconut Yogurt. It is on the sweeter side of things which makes it a perfect smoothie add in. The mix between strawberries and coconut is the perfect summer blend! PS – how adorable are these owl glasses below ?!

As an Event Coordinator I have definitely seen the increase of food preferences and allergies over the past few years. Overall people have shifted their outlook on eating and health which has become more prevalent when planning meals for groups at event.
After receiving everyone’s food requirements it can get overwhelming very fast. This can definitely make things a little more difficult when planning a meal for a group of people but I find it a fun challenge to try to incorporate everyone’s needs and still have an amazing spread for everyone!
