Super Bowl is in two weeks (GO PATRIOTS!) and it’s time to start planning out your spread! We love watching the game with friends and always have a variety of items to feast on! Let’s be honest – good food equal good times!
To help set up that great spread, I have created a variety of food labels to enhance the table and guide guests to their various choices. Setting up a sandwich spread or a variety of snack food – check out the food labels below!
Ahhh…I think it’s perfect that this JMS Hearts falls on Cyber Monday this week! So many good entertaining finds this season and I can’t wait to share all of them! Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend is the best time to shop for your entertaining needs since all the sales are on anyways – no point in paying full price next week!
I love this time of the year – everything feels so cozy and warm and I feel this is mainly due to the way we decorate our homes throughout the holiday season. On top of the fun Christmas decor, all our parties feel glamorous and special due to the extra touches that fill the home such as gold-rimmed glasses or festive platters. Below are a few items that caught my eye for the holiday season and I think they would make a perfect addition in the home this year!
If you are new here – JMS HEARTS is a feature that I have created which showcases all my favourite entertaining finds for the season….aka everything that I heart ♥!
Baby showers are a great way to get friends and family together to celebrate mom to be! This is such a special time in the families life and people love getting together to celebrate the occasion. If you have ever put together a baby shower (or bridal shower etc.) you know exactly how much work goes into planning and executing the event. After spending hours on the decorations and food, the last thing you need to worry about is if people will interact with each other or if the room will be silent!
Having a few party games is always helpful in breaking that silent lul that can happen when the crowd is filled with random strangers! I always like to have a few games on hand to use when the room needs a pick me up! Hosting events like these can be a little difficult because various groups of people need to mingle together and stay entertained.
For this weeks post, I have created a free baby shower party game printable for you to use at your next baby shower event. I hope the group has fun playing it!
There are so many amazing party shops on Etsy that provide such unique items and products. I love browsing them and using the images as inspiration to bring together tablescapes and party designs. Sometimes just walking through the aisles of Michaels or browsing through the pages of Etsy help reenergize my mind and inspire a new creation from the smallest product. A colourful fabric can be the start of a small idea that turns into a full creative party table – that’s what I love about this business! Getting to be creative and using my imagination is definitely the best part!
My goal one day is to open up my own Etsy shop with various party inspiration but until that becomes a reality I can’t wait to share these below! I have purchased from some shops and been eyeing products at others. All are filled with unique party supplies that will definitely raise the bar at your next party!
I am absolutely obsessed with sangria and cannot turn down a glass when it is offered! Personally, the sweeter the better from my perspective but all of them are equally delicious (red, white and rose). Whenever I go to a new restaurant/bar I enjoy trying out their version of the sangria that they offer. I am always surprised by the different flavour combinations one simple drink can provide.
Although typically the sangria cocktail is a summer drink (patio season is bliss), I wanted to bring it into the season with some additional fall flavours. Who wants to let go of a good thing just because the leaves are turning colour !? With the holiday season approaching, it is always a nice option to have on hand for drinks and sometimes even needed after all those family dinners (I kid – well maybe a little!) Bring on the autumn sangria I say! The more the better!
