I can’t believe we are officially in April and Easter is truly around the corner! If you are still searching for some gift ideas I’ve rounded up 50 ideas (with links) to hopefully inspire you. Easter Baskets should be fun and do not need to be super fancy or expensive. I focus on things I know my child needs (and I will probably be replacing shortly like clothes, markers, snacks etc) and some activities to help entertain them on those busy days. With spring officially here and Easter just around the corner, I am dying to get my hands on all the new items in stores. The beautiful pastel colours get me excited for the seasonal changes coming up and this time of year always feels like a fresh start. Welcome back to another edition of JMS Hearts! I feel like it’s been forever since I checked out things in store and online – I think everyone becomes a bit of a hermit crab after the Christmas holidays. After all that shopping (and spending!) I feel like I just don’t want to buy anything ever again. That feeling, of course, passes (ha!) and as the adorable pink and red hearts appear on the scene for Valentine’s Day I became infatuated with all the new pretty offerings. Ahhh…I think it’s perfect that this JMS Hearts falls on Cyber Monday this week! So many good entertaining finds this season and I can’t wait to share all of them! Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend is the best time to shop for your entertaining needs since all the sales are on anyways – no point in paying full price next week!

I love this time of the year – everything feels so cozy and warm and I feel this is mainly due to the way we decorate our homes throughout the holiday season. On top of the fun Christmas decor, all our parties feel glamorous and special due to the extra touches that fill the home such as gold-rimmed glasses or festive platters. Below are a few items that caught my eye for the holiday season and I think they would make a perfect addition in the home this year!

Fall is officially here and I am not mad about it! It is my favourite season and I cannot wait to start decorating the house and having people over for cozy evenings together. If you saw my Entertaining Bucket List, you know that I have a lot of fun ideas planned and I cannot wait to start on them. This season brings along the feelings of comfort and coziness which is perfect for lazy days together at home. I definitely prefer to stay at home relaxing with friends and I cannot wait to start baking up a storm in the kitchen.
